Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer began her acting career as a teenager. Her best-known character was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her father was the eldest of her three siblings. She began singing in nightclubs as a teenager and often would leave her house to sing. After attending the Wooster School, at 13 years old and began to study acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned teacher Uta Hagen. She studied with her. Born on April 28, 1967, and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her father is an German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari was born into an extended family of four. In her early years as a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster school at the age of 13 before going on to study drama in the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the renowned Uta Hagen. Kari started performing as a teen. Her first breakthrough was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
