Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. Not only was the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight and fortune, but it also secured her a deal to RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. In the years since, she's released a number album studios. Of these albums, 3 reached the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while others were only a few centimeters away. Her name is among America's top performers. She tried her hand at popularity with different musical themes and style, and often wrote her own songs. Due to her distinctness and ability as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from reviewers and was awarded a couple of important prizes. In particular, she has been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Alongside her career in music, she has also appeared in movies and television shows. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in several charities.
