Taylor Swift may be the most unique of pop stars: an artist capable of successfully cross the divide between country and pop and conquer the world. Fearless became hugely popular not only in America which is where it's Top Ten singles Love Story as well as You Belong with Me helped it to record six platinum albums as well as around the globe. It performed particularly well across Canada, Australia and the U.K. Speak Now delivered almost two years later, which consolidated the achievement and propelled Swift to the heights of fame. With the three albums that followed (Reputation 2017, 1989 2014, and Red 2012) Red 2012 1989 2014, along with Reputation 2017, her popularity only increased. That was an obvious sign she had moved to an entirely new world of pop where she fit in. The popularity of her music grew after she changed her strategy in 2020's more streamlined siblings the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed at the top of the charts.
