Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she left the college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
